11 Days to Nirvana

I'm 11 days away from freedom. Freedom from a salaried life. Freedom from a daily routine. Freedom from accountability. Freedom from credit card statements. Freedom from bills and payments. Freedom from PPT's and Excel's. Freedom from the Metropoli lifestyle. Freedom from the bland lifeless post-11PM hours. Freedom from performance orientation. Freedom to do what I like. Freedom to think what I want. Freedom to read what interests. Freedom to go home with no strings attached, this one last time. Freedom to go blading down the boulevards of my township back home. Freedom to take pictures. Freedom to browse wiki again. Freedom. Once again :)

Its been four years and 346 days since I took that test, and I have reached a pitstop finally :) Lets begin again, lets go easy this time :) Let's maneveur the curves more easily this time. Let's not throttle the engine beyond what its designed for :) Let's chart out some new routes. Let's not worry about where it ends. Maybe let's just get out of the cockpit :) Aah this is an amazing feeling. I'm high already. Goodnight folks.

Free :)

Sorry to sabotage the humorous tone but I seriously feel that freedom is a state of mind. You are bound only if you submit yourself or dont enjoy what you are doing. Ofcourse once you enter that new campus, you would be less accountable professionally, but you would surely find many academic challenges. Many you will enjoy, some you wouldn't. The trick is to find the balance and aligning your work/studies/responsibilities in a way that motivates and inspires you. I know it is easier said than done, but I believe that can be done. :)

Honestly, I think you were lucky to get an experience of exactly what your life would be like after two years. if anything, it's going to get even more hectic, so enjoy the next two years for all the reasons mentioned in your blog because you'll be back in between the grindstones soon. All the best :)

And yeah, I've told you before that it's about accepting things and trying to enjoy them like pulkit suggested, complaining and looking for a way out will only make the time you spend a drag. Thora peace maarna seekh and find a girl :P

This is a shortlived state...Make the mose of this vacation as it'll be the last one without any responsibilities...and life will get back to its current state (or worse) after you pass out....
